Main activities/responsibilities:

General Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / University graduate

• Excellent written and spoken English and good command of spoken Mandarin.

• Direct communication with the Shanghai office over quality & audit issues found in factories.

• High standard of ethics and discretion is needed.

• Must be willing to domestic travel most of time, including international (other South Asia and China as needed)

 Factory Audit Management:

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in factory audits.

• Knowledge of major US retailers’ compliance requirements, such as Walmart, Target, etc. Familiar with 3rd party audit reports like SMETA, BSCI, etc.

• Conduct factory visits and internal audits including onboarding new factories and assessing existing suppliers.

• Ability to provide vendor education, training and guidance to close out Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and ensure continues factory improvement.

 Quality:

• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in quality control, ideally within a sourcing office or third-party company for a USA based importer of consumer goods.

• Strong technical knowledge in relevant industry, hometextile, softhome or garment product categories.

• Ability to work with our factories to ensure sensible quality control checks are in place during all stages of manufacturing.

• Ability to work with factories, product developers and supply team to ensure continuous improvement is implemented across all factory sites.
